Short Escapade, Anyone?

Perth, Feb 24: Perth travellers are leaning into the “micro-cation” trend ahead of April–May, turning a small amount of annual leave into a four- or five-day overseas break by stacking public holidays with smart scheduling.
With shoulder-season travel running from 14 April 2026 to 29 May 2026, Scoot’s latest Gotta Scoot Tuesdays sale is positioning Southeast Asia as a quick, relatively affordable reset from the west coast — with Perth to Singapore from $140 one-way in Economy, putting hawker centres, city stays and rooftop pools within a five-hour flight.
The promotion runs 24 February 2026 to 2 March 2026, with one-way Economy “FLY” fares ex-Perth (including taxes) also listed from $160 to Kuala Lumpur, $190 to Bangkok (via Singapore), $200 to Nha Trang (via Singapore), $225 to Chiang Mai (via Singapore), $180 to Ho Chi Minh City, and $210 to Taipei, among other routes. ScootPlus fares ex-Perth include $305 to Singapore, $395 to Kuala Lumpur (via Singapore) and $445 to Bangkok (via Singapore).
For travellers who don’t want to miss out, ‘Gotta Scoot Tuesdays’ is also a reminder to keep an eye out for Scoot’s regular Tuesday sales.
The easiest way to stay informed about upcoming deals is by signing up to Scoot’s emailing list for the latest news and promotions, or via the Scoot app on Apple or Android, where users can receive notifications and book immediately.
