I recently tried the Logitech G325 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset in Lilac, priced at AUD $199 — and it’s a surprisingly versatile pick if you want something that works for gaming and everyday life.

First impressions

Straight out of the box, the G325 feels light, comfortable, and easy to wear for long periods. The fit is snug without feeling tight, and the design is streamlined — it doesn’t look oversized or clunky.

A headset you can actually take outside

One of my favourite details is that there’s no mic sticking out. Because the mic is built in, it looks more like a regular pair of wireless headphones, which makes it easy to take out on long walks without feeling like you’re walking around in full gamer gear.
It also makes it more obvious to people around you that you’re wearing headphones — handy when you’re out and about and want to avoid awkward near-misses with cyclists.

Setup: simple, with one small annoyance

Setup is very straightforward. In the box, you essentially get the basics: the headset, a charging cable, and a wireless connector/dongle to plug into your device.
The only downside: the connector is the older, larger USB (USB-A). If your laptop is USB-C only (like many newer models), you’ll need an adaptor — luckily I had one on hand.

Performance and value

In use, it’s been reliable and easy to switch into my routine. For AUD $199, it sits in that “mid-range” zone — not bargain-bin, but still accessible if you want wireless convenience, comfort, and something you can use beyond just gaming.

Verdict

If you’re after a wireless headset that’s lightweight, easy to set up, comfortable for long sessions, and doesn’t scream “gaming headset” in public, the Logitech G325 is worth considering.
