Dell Unveils World-First Monitors

Perth, Jan 12: Dell Technologies has unveiled two new additions to its flagship UltraSharp lineup, introducing what it says are world-first display innovations aimed squarely at professionals who demand precision, productivity and comfort.
Announced today at CES 2026, the new monitors include a massive 52-inch curved 6K display designed to replace multi-monitor workstations, and a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor built for color-critical creative work. Both models feature advanced eye-comfort technology and are designed with sustainability at the forefront.
For more than a decade, Dell’s UltraSharp range has been a staple in professional environments, and the company says these latest releases extend that legacy with meaningful, practical innovation.

A 52-Inch 6K Powerhouse for Multitasking Professionals

The Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U5226KW) is positioned as a productivity centerpiece for financial traders, engineers, data professionals and executives managing large volumes of information.
Featuring a 51.5-inch curved 6K IPS Black panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio, the monitor delivers a pixel density of 129 PPI and a 120Hz refresh rate. Dell says the display provides 61,000 more pixels and 25% higher pixel density than a typical setup combining two 27-inch QHD monitors and a 43-inch 4K display, while taking up less physical desk space.
It is also the first monitor to achieve the highest tier of TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, supported by an ambient light sensor and anti-glare low-reflectance coating to reduce eye fatigue during long work sessions.
Connectivity and multitasking are central to the design. Users can connect up to four PCs simultaneously, with built-in KVM functionality and an internal multi-stream transport feature that allows each picture-by-picture partition to behave as a separate monitor. A single Thunderbolt 4 cable delivers video, data and up to 140W of power, with pop-out USB-C and USB-A ports for quick access to peripherals.

Precision Color for Creative Professionals

Aimed at filmmakers, designers and media professionals, the Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor (U3226Q) focuses on uncompromising color accuracy and visual depth.
The 32-inch display features a 4K QD-OLED panel with an infinite contrast ratio of 1.5M:1, DisplayHDR True Black 500 and Dolby Vision HDR. Dell says the monitor delivers Delta E <1 color accuracy out of the box and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 and Display P3 color gamuts, making it suitable for color grading, film editing and broadcast workflows.
A built-in colorimeter stores calibration data directly on the monitor, enabling consistent results across setups and allowing IT teams to calibrate devices remotely. Programmable direct keys provide quick access to preferred color modes, while Dell Color Management software tools give creatives and IT managers fine-grained control over settings and fleet management.
Addressing a common concern with OLED displays, Dell has applied what it calls the first-ever Anti-Glare Low-Reflectance coating on a commercial QD-OLED panel, designed to maintain image clarity even in bright studio environments.

Sustainability Built Into the Design

Both new UltraSharp monitors reflect Dell’s broader sustainability goals. The displays are manufactured using up to 90% post-consumer recycled plastics, 100% recycled aluminum, up to 50% recycled steel and at least 20% recycled glass. Packaging is made from 100% renewable and recyclable materials.

Pricing and Availability

The Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U5226KW) will be available globally from January 6, 2026, priced at AUD $3,666 and NZD $3,982.
