Plaud Note Pro Review

By June Ramli

Perth, Jan 1: DailyStraits.com recently tested the Plaud Note Pro, and the device performed beautifully — particularly when it came to capturing meetings and turning them into clear, usable notes with very little effort from us.
The brand, which describes itself as one of the world’s leading AI note-taking companies, unveiled the Plaud Note Pro last August, calling it its most advanced and versatile AI note-taking device to date.
Aimed at tech-savvy professionals, busy knowledge workers, and even healthcare and education users, the Note Pro sits at the top of Plaud’s growing lineup of AI-powered productivity tools.
Wrapped in a luxurious rippled aluminium body, the Note Pro is ultra-thin and lightweight, designed for everyday portability.
On the software side, it debuts Plaud’s App 3.0, which brings smarter, more powerful capabilities to capture, analyse and transform what you say, hear, see and think into actionable knowledge faster and more accurately than previous models.
At the core of the device is the upgraded Plaud Intelligence Core, which significantly improves its ability to pull out key insights from multiple information streams.
This makes it particularly useful for high-stakes meetings, creative sessions and research environments.
Over time, the system learns your key moments and ideas, builds context around your data and acts as a daily companion that links your words to real-world tasks and actions. Its Plaud Intelligibility features allow users to summarise meetings from different angles, assign tasks to team members, and generate follow-ups and to-do lists automatically.
“Our mission is to give professionals the ultimate tool for capturing and acting on ideas in real time,” said Nathan Xu, Co-founder & CEO of Plaud.ai.
“The Note Pro represents a major leap forward in AI note-taking technology, blending cutting-edge intelligence with an entirely reimagined user experience.”
The Note Pro introduces an all-new visual identity and InstantView interface for greater speed, clarity and control. Everyday actions — from starting a recording to exporting summaries — have been streamlined to minimise friction and keep users focused.
On the hardware front, the device adds two extra beamforming microphones with a pickup range of up to five metres, offers days of recording time, supports multimodal inputs, is compatible with Apple Find My, and enables instant file transfers. Users can also customise views to suit different professional settings.
Alongside the Note Pro, Plaud’s existing Plaud Note device and Plaud App remain available for those who want to tap into the company’s AI note-taking ecosystem.
