Perth, Dec 30: Samsung Electronics has introduced its 2026 lineup of home audio devices, expanding its ecosystem of soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers with a focus on multi-device connectivity, immersive design and AI-driven sound enhancements. The range will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6–9.
The new portfolio includes upgraded Q-Series soundbars and the launch of the Music Studio Wi-Fi speaker series. The devices are designed to deliver fuller sound, clearer dialogue and a more unified listening experience across TVs, speakers and other connected products through enhanced Q-Symphony technology.
Samsung’s 2026 Q-Series soundbars aim to bring cinema-style audio into modern living spaces. The latest flagship model, the HW-Q990H, introduces Sound Elevation, which lifts dialogue to screen level, and Auto Volume, which smooths loudness levels across content and channels. The 11.1.4-channel system combines a 7.0.2 main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers and dual compact 8-inch active subwoofers, with up-firing channels and AI tuning expanding the sound field. The model will form part of Samsung Australia’s 2026 AV lineup, with pricing and availability to be announced.

Samsung has also added a new all-in-one soundbar, the HW-QS90H, featuring a Convertible Fit design for both wall and table mounting. A built-in gyro sensor adjusts channels automatically depending on orientation. The 7.1.2-channel bar houses 13 drivers, including nine wide-range speakers, and incorporates a Quad Bass Woofer system to deliver low frequencies without a separate subwoofer. Local availability details will be confirmed at a later date.
Complementing the soundbars, Samsung is launching two Wi-Fi speakers — the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 — designed to work both independently and as part of broader multi-device sound systems. The speakers share an iconic dot-inspired design created in collaboration with designer Erwan Bouroullec to blend with contemporary interiors while offering expressive sound performance.

The Music Studio 7 (LS70H) offers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio with top-firing drivers for a three-dimensional soundstage. Samsung Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology reduces signal overlap, while AI Dynamic Bass Control strengthens low-frequency output, and Hi-Resolution Audio supports processing up to 24-bit/96kHz. It can operate as a standalone immersive speaker or paired with compatible devices through Q-Symphony. The model will be available in Black and White in Australia, with pricing to be announced.
The Music Studio 5 (LS50H) features a smaller, gallery-style design suited to interior-focused spaces. It includes a 4-inch woofer, dual tweeters and built-in waveguide for balanced sound, supported by AI Dynamic Bass Control. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, Bluetooth through Samsung Seamless Codec and voice assistant support.

Samsung is also enhancing Q-Symphony in 2026, allowing up to five audio devices to be paired with a Samsung TV simultaneously. SpaceFit Sound Pro analyses room layout and speaker placement to optimise sound output, improving clarity and surround-sound realism. Through SmartThings, users can manage audio settings, group playback and streaming services from compatible devices.
The company’s audio portfolio is rounded out by the new Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F models, introduced in late 2025 for outdoor and social listening environments. These products join the Music Studio series and new soundbars as part of Samsung Australia’s 2026 AV lineup, with detailed pricing and availability to follow.
