Airwheel SE3SL Suitcase Reviewed

We are starting the pack with with Airwheel has introduced its SE3SL smart suitcase to the travel gadget market, a 20-inch carry-on designed to double as a compact ride-on vehicle for travellers moving through large terminals and indoor spaces.

The SE3SL, supplied to DailyStraits.com as a review unit, combines a hard-shell cabin bag with an integrated electric drive system capable of reaching speeds of up to 10 km/h and delivering a claimed range of up to 10 km on a single charge.
With a 20-litre capacity and a unit weight of 6.8 kilograms (without the battery), the suitcase is pitched at frequent flyers and short-trip travellers who prefer to pack light.

The model tested features a pink finish and RGB lighting on the logo and base, which can be customised via Airwheel’s mobile app.
Setup is app-based and was completed within minutes. Users are required to download the Airwheel app, pair the suitcase with a smartphone and follow on-screen prompts to activate smart functions.
Once connected, the app can be used to control lighting and selected ride settings.
In addition to app controls, the SE3SL includes physical controls on the rear of the suitcase, allowing key functions to be operated even when a smartphone is not available or its battery is depleted.
The suitcase is designed primarily as carry-on luggage rather than as a checked-in main bag.
Its internal volume is suited to overnight or weekend trips, or to travellers who are accustomed to minimalist packing.
