Export Awards Honour Innovators

Sydney, Nov 27: Australian exporters across design, technology, manufacturing and social enterprise have been recognised at this year’s Australian Export Awards, one of the country’s most prestigious and longest-running export programs presented by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade).
In the Creative Industries category, Orbitkey (VIC) was recognised for its thoughtfully designed everyday carry products.
The Melbourne-based, design-led brand creates elegant accessories for work, travel and daily use, with a focus on solving real-world problems such as clutter, disorganisation and inefficiency. Prioritising premium quality, longevity and timeless appeal over passing trends, Orbitkey now exports to more than 100 countries and operates from five third-party logistics warehouses worldwide.
Adelaide-based MyVenue (SA) took out the Technologies category.

The company powers next-generation commerce for sports and entertainment venues globally through its cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) solutions, purpose-built for event-driven venues. Its platforms are entirely hardware-agnostic, allowing venues to reuse existing equipment or choose preferred devices. Since its launch in 2020, MyVenue has deployed more than 19,000 POS terminals worldwide.
Queensland’s PWR Advanced Cooling Technology was named winner in the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials category.
The company crafts bespoke, high-performance cooling solutions for engines, motors and electronics using cutting-edge research. Its products are used by top racing teams around the world, including the Red Bull Formula 1 team, V8 Supercars and NASCAR.
Co-founder Paul Weel is a former Australian Stadium Off Road Champion (1997/98) and previously raced in the Australian V8 Supercar series. PWR also applies its innovation to the aerospace and defence sectors.
In the e-Commerce category, Humanitix (NSW) was recognised for its purpose-driven ticketing platform, which directs 100% of event booking profits to charity.
The funds support access to education, healthcare and basic necessities for millions of people worldwide. Event hosts are drawn to Humanitix for its stress-free ticket management, lower fees and real human support, while ticket buyers value that every purchase has a positive social impact.
Launching in the UK this year, Humanitix has opened new headquarters in Edinburgh.
Last year it donated a record-breaking $10 million to charity, bringing its total contribution to $16.5 million. Its key export markets include the US, the UK and New Zealand.
The Australian Export Awards, presented by Austrade, celebrate outstanding, innovative and inspiring exporters whose success drives jobs, innovation and economic growth across the nation.
