Systech, Microlink Launch GPUaaS

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6, 2025 — Systech Bhd has partnered with Microlink Solutions Berhad to roll out Malaysia’s next-generation GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) infrastructure, leveraging Super Micro Computer, Inc. (Supermicro) GPU servers integrated with NVIDIA technology.
Under a Collaboration Agreement, Systech Digital Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (formerly Wilstech Sdn. Bhd.), a wholly owned subsidiary of Systech, and Applied Business Systems Sdn. Bhd. (ABS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Microlink, will deliver enterprise-scale GPUaaS and AI compute solutions aimed at accelerating AI-driven innovation and digital transformation across the country.
ABS, the authorised distributor of Supermicro in Malaysia, will supply and deliver the GPU infrastructure. The high-performance systems, equipped with advanced NVIDIA chips, will underpin Systech’s on-demand compute offering for AI, machine learning and other data-intensive workloads.
Per the agreement, Systech Digital leads assembly, testing, integration and commissioning of GPUaaS infrastructure and services, undertakes R&D in AI, quantum computing and green technologies, and facilitates global tech partnerships. ABS is responsible for delivery, configuration, maintenance and upgrades to industry standards, alongside technical documentation. Both parties will jointly plan, decide and execute to ensure timely delivery and effective collaboration.
The tie-up was unveiled at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, where a live showcase highlighted GPUaaS use cases for enterprises and public sector agencies seeking accessible high-compute capacity. The service model removes large upfront hardware costs and targets sectors including fintech, healthcare, education, cybersecurity and smart manufacturing.
The initiative aligns with national priorities under MyDIGITAL and the National Artificial Intelligence Roadmap (NAIR) to build a competitive, digitally enabled economy.

LintraMax Upgrades Quarto

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6, 2025 — LintraMax unveiled major AI-driven upgrades to its Quarto plantation management platform, adding an AI Assistant powered by LLMs for plain-language queries, automated Executive Insights reports, and mobile FFB recognition for harvested Fresh Fruit Bunches, with crop-quality assessment coming soon. The release also integrates IoT sensors at palm oil mills for 24/7 machinery monitoring and alerts.

AICB Hosts IFCTF

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5, 2025 — The Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) gathered more than 1,200 banking professionals and over 50 global experts at the 15th International Conference on Financial Crime and Counter Terrorism Financing (IFCTF) 2025, held from Nov 4–6 at MITEC.
The event comes amid rising threats, with Malaysia reporting RM1.12 billion in online fraud losses in the first half of 2025 and nearly RM1.92 billion in scam-related losses by September. Globally, illicit financial flows are estimated at USD3.1 trillion, with fraud and bank scams accounting for USD486 billion.
Malaysia’s banks continue to strengthen safeguards under the #JanganKenaScam campaign, alongside growing public vigilance. In opening remarks, BNM Governor Dato’ Sri Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour stressed the importance of ethics and judgment in an era of AI-driven compliance. AICB Chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim highlighted the alignment of innovation and integrity in protecting the financial system. Faradina Ghouse, Chairman of CONG, underscored the need for intelligence sharing and cross-border cooperation as financial crime grows more complex.

Publicis Buys HEPMIL

SINGAPORE, Oct 29, 2025 — Publicis Groupe has signed a definitive agreement to acquire HEPMIL Media Group, Southeast Asia’s leading influencer and content agency. HEPMIL works with over 450 brands and more than 3,000 creators, reaching over 1 billion consumers across six markets. The group’s media platforms SGAG, MGAG and PGAG collectively engage more than 70 million people in the region.
Influencer marketing in Southeast Asia is expected to grow 12–15% annually, surpassing USD1.4 billion by 2030. Covering 159 job roles and 157 critical skills—spanning technical and behavioural competencies—the platform was developed with Accendo Technologies, the official delivery partner, to combine global best practices with local expertise.
Aligned with Bank Negara Malaysia’s Financial Sector Blueprint 2022–2026, FSF Xcel provides real-time analytics and a common competency language for workforce planning and professional development. I-Berhad Record Profit

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24, 2025 — I-Berhad reported its highest-ever quarterly PBT of RM26.8 million for Q3FY2025, a 74 percent year-on-year increase on revenue of RM81.3 million. Property Development remained the main contributor with RM42.1 million in revenue, while Property Investment delivered RM6.8 million and Leisure and Hospitality recorded RM31.8 million.
For the first nine months of 2025, the Group achieved RM205.6 million in revenue and RM53.4 million in PBT. I-Berhad said its remaining RM5 billion GDV pipeline at i-City, along with AI World and plans for Robotics-as-a-Service, will support long-term growth.
