Sydney, Sept 21: Olympic champion and CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy) advocate Michael Klim has announced his return to the skincare industry with the launch of Klima, a wellness-first amenity brand designed for the hotel and hospitality sectors.
Launched this month via Hunter Amenities, the brand debuts with a core line of vegan, cruelty-free products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. The range also features select in-room retail items such as Snaaps 35mm cameras, promoting what Klim calls “analogue wellness.” Each formulation is infused with coastal botanicals aimed at restoring and replenishing.
“For me, Klima is more than a return to skincare—it’s the convergence of purpose, personal resilience, and passion,” says Michael Klim. “Living with CIDP has reshaped my focus toward wellbeing and balance. Klima reflects that journey and gives back through every partnership we build.”
The brand will initially launch in select Australian hotels, with expansion into Bali already underway. Partnerships are being developed with wellness-driven and socially conscious hotels aligned with Klima’s ethos. Beyond product distribution, the brand will connect with the hospitality and wellness industries through activations, collaborative events, and community experiences that reinforce its wellness-first mission and raise awareness for CIDP.
Proceeds from Klima will directly support The Klim Foundation, co-founded by Klim and Michelle Owen, which provides information and support for those living with CIDP, as well as their caretakers and healthcare professionals. Diagnosed in 2020, Klim has since dedicated much of his personal and public life to raising awareness of the rare neurological condition.
Klima is available exclusively through Hunter Amenities starting this month.
