Sydney, Sept 16: Gozney has unveiled its next-generation Dome Gen 2 Series, a complete reimagining of the company’s iconic 2021 live-fire oven.
The new flagship line is available in two sizes — Dome (Gen 2) and the larger Dome XL (Gen 2) — and is designed to give home cooks more power, precision, and space than ever before.
The Dome Gen 2 Series has been developed over four years with input from Gozney’s global chef community and brings restaurant-grade performance to backyards, making live-fire cooking more versatile and intuitive.
Among its key upgrades, the Dome XL is up to 90 per cent larger than the original, offering capacity for three 10-inch pizzas, an 18-inch pizza, or multiple dishes at once.
Both ovens also feature hybrid fuel options for cooking with wood, gas, or charcoal, a precision airflow system for wood-fire control, a lateral flame burner with low-to-high adjustment, and a built-in digital console with sensors, touch controls, twin meat probes, and timer functionality.

Chefs including James Beard Award-winner Chris Bianco, BBQ pitmaster Rasheed Philips, and Michelin-starred Dalad Kambhu have all praised the ovens for their versatility and precision, demonstrating their use for everything from Neapolitan pizzas to smoking and slow-roasting.
Available in Bone and Off Black finishes, the Dome Gen 2 Series also features a fully serviceable component architecture with 25+ parts designed for easy access, repair, and upgrades, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
Both Dome (Gen 2) and Dome XL (Gen 2) will be available for purchase from October 15 at select retailers and au.gozney.com, with prices starting at AU$2999. Pre-sale opens September 17.
