Interactive, Hollard complete large-scale data migration
Sydney, Aug 19: Interactive has partnered with Hollard Insurance to successfully migrate hundreds of virtual machines to a new data centre in just one weekend.
The project became necessary after Hollard’s managed services provider announced the closure of its private cloud, forcing a fast turnaround.
The migration involved a mix of IT systems and platforms, requiring rigorous testing, scenario planning, and expertise in Microsoft Azure VMware Services (AVS). Interactive worked closely with Hollard’s technology team to ensure minimal business disruption, with core operations back online by Monday.
Larry Neimann, Head of Technology Operations at Hollard, said Interactive’s discovery work and hands-on support provided clarity and confidence throughout the process.
Brad Wells, Director of Enterprise Sales at Interactive, added that open communication and collaboration were key to the project’s success.
