Google Boosts Gemini Learning

Sydney, Aug 15: Google is introducing a new suite of learning tools in its Gemini AI platform, designed to encourage critical thinking, deepen comprehension and make studying more efficient. However, the features are not yet available in Australia.
Among the updates is Guided Learning mode, which aims to help users build a deep understanding of complex topics rather than simply delivering quick answers. Acting like a personal AI learning coach, the mode breaks down problems step-by-step and adapts explanations to suit individual needs, revealing the “how” and “why” behind concepts.
Gemini is also making the learning process more engaging with integrated visuals. The platform will automatically include high-quality images, diagrams and YouTube videos in responses to help explain complex topics such as photosynthesis or the anatomy of a cell.
In addition, Google is expanding its exam preparation tools. Building on the interactive quizzes launched at Google I/O, Gemini can now create flashcards and study guides based on quiz results or other class materials, offering a simple way to review key concepts and strengthen learning.
