Bubble Planet Lands in Sydney

By June Ramli

Sydney, June 5: Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience has officially landed in Sydney, and we at DailyStraits.com were lucky enough to preview the global sensation before it opens to the public tomorrow at the Paddington Pavilion, Sydney Olympic Park.
Already a hit overseas in cities like London, Milan and LA, Bubble Planet brings its multi-sensory magic to Australia with over 10 imaginative rooms filled with virtual reality, floating balloons, optical illusions, and Insta-worthy photo ops.
The experience is best suited for kids aged seven and above, with plenty of vibrant, interactive elements to keep little ones entertained.
However, it’s worth noting that it isn’t particularly toddler-friendly – families with children under three may find the space a bit challenging to navigate, especially given the maze-like layout.
One of the clear highlights was the Bubble Bath Ball Pit – a massive room where guests wade through clouds of plastic “bubbles.”
Socks are required for this section, and a word of advice: take off your jewellery before diving in.
Once something drops into the pit, good luck finding it again!

The entire experience is designed like a playful labyrinth, guiding you from one fantastical zone to the next.
From glowing undersea LED rooms to a fully immersive VR bubble world, each space invites visitors to leave the everyday behind and step into an interactive dreamscape.

The writer experiences full immersion at Bubble Planet’s giant Bubble Bath Ball Pit – a highlight of the multi-sensory exhibition.

The journey wraps up in a retail area where guests can purchase bubble-themed souvenirs.
Overall, Bubble Planet offers a fun and imaginative escape – a treat for families, date nights, or anyone wanting to reconnect with their inner child.
Just don’t expect it to keep the tiniest tots entertained for long.

Pro Tips:

  • Wear socks for the ball pit and comfy shoes for the rest of the experience.
  • Avoid wearing rings or small jewellery that might get lost.
  • Allow 60–90 minutes for the full experience.
  • Tickets are available now at bubble-planet.com/sydney. Children under 4 enter free.
