Qantas Launches Queensland Sale

Sydney, April 14: Qantas has announced a massive 72-hour sale on domestic flights to Queensland, with one-way fares starting as low as $99.
The sale, run in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland, aims to revive tourism across the state following the impact of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Covering more than 30 routes and 15 Queensland destinations, the sale invites Australians to explore everything from the coastal beauty of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast to regional gems like Longreach, home to the Qantas Founders Museum.
“Queensland destinations are among the most popular on our network,” said Qantas Domestic CEO Markus Svensson.
“This sale offers great value and comes at the perfect time for Aussies to plan a mid-year escape up north.”
Some of the standout one-way fares include Sydney to the Gold Coast and Brisbane to the Whitsunday Coast for $99, and Melbourne to the Gold Coast for $119.
Other discounted destinations include Cairns, Townsville, Hamilton Island, Mount Isa, and even outback hubs like Longreach.
All sale fares include checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages, and free Wi-Fi on select domestic flights.
The promotional fares are available for travel on selected dates between 19 May and 10 December 2025 and must be booked by 11:59 pm AEST on 16 April 2025, unless sold out earlier.
Tourism and Events Queensland CEO Craig Davidson welcomed the campaign, saying, “This sale is a much-needed boost for our tourism sector. From iconic coastal escapes to vibrant regional towns, Queensland truly has something for everyone.”
