Malaysia Airlines Resumes Paris Route

Kuala Lumpur, March 23: Malaysia Airlines has officially resumed its direct flights to Paris, marking its return to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) with the inaugural MH22 flight departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 on March 22.
The flight, which landed in Paris at 6:40 AM local time, strengthens the airline’s global network and expands its European presence.
To commemorate the occasion, a send-off event was held at KLIA, where passengers received special goodie bags. Representatives from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), including Group Chief Financial Officer Boo Hui Yee and Chief Commercial Officer Dersenish Aresandiran, attended the event.
The return of Malaysia Airlines to Paris has seen strong demand, with 95 per cent occupancy on MH22 and 98 per cent on the return flight MH21. Initially, the airline will operate four weekly flights between March 22 and March 27, before increasing to daily service from March 29.
In conjunction with the route’s relaunch, Malaysia Airlines has introduced the “Time for Memorable Journeys Pocketbook” for passengers, with the Paris edition offering insights into local phrases, etiquette, and cuisine to enhance the travel experience.
The airline’s partnership with American Airlines also boosts connectivity, allowing passengers to access four additional U.S. destinations from Paris: New York (JFK), Dallas (DFW), Miami (MIA), and Orlando (ORD).
Passengers can now book flights to Paris and beyond via the Malaysia Airlines website or mobile app.
