Last week, I received a complimentary Prep Master Mini food processor from Australian kitchen appliance brand Duraprès.
At just $89, it’s an affordable and practical addition to any kitchen, making it a budget-friendly option that doesn’t break the bank.
For someone like me, who enjoys a mix of Malay, Indian, and Chinese cooking, a food processor is a game-changer.
My meals often start with the tedious process of chopping onions, ginger, garlic, and chilies—key ingredients in stir-fries, curries, and soups.
Before owning the Prep Master Mini, I had to chop everything manually, and onions were the worst—they always left me teary-eyed!

The real struggle was the time it took to finely chop everything, which is why supermarkets like Coles and Woolies sell pre-chopped ingredients to make cooking quicker.
But with the Prep Master Mini, all I need to do is peel the ingredients, roughly chop them, and let the processor do the rest.
It was a eureka moment for me when I realized how much time I could save.
To put it to the test, I made chicken curry in just 10 minutes.
Using boneless chicken, I prepped all the ingredients with the Prep Master Mini, and the cooking process was incredibly smooth.

I will admit, starting up the machine took a bit of effort since all the compartments need to be fully locked in before it powers on.
The processor also comes with a safety warning about the sharp blades, so I want to emphasize—always turn the machine off before switching the blades to avoid accidents.
This compact and efficient processor is also perfect for busy professionals who want to cook a healthy homemade meal after a long day instead of relying on Uber Eats. It speeds up prep time and makes cooking far more convenient.

Cleaning is a breeze—all the parts easily dismantle and rinse clean under running water.
Plus, thanks to its small size, it doesn’t take up much storage space, making it ideal for smaller kitchens.
I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to simplify meal prep, especially if you love cooking.
Plus, supporting an Aussie brand is always a great choice!
Aside from the initial setup challenge, I encountered no major issues.
The product also comes with a recipe booklet by Aussie chef Curtis Stone, offering plenty of ideas on how to make the most of your Prep Master Mini.
