Kylie Frazer Joins UNSW

Sydney, Jan 28: UNSW Founders, Australia’s top-rated startup accelerator, has announced Kylie Frazer as its new Investor-in-Residence.
A renowned early-stage investor, Frazer brings over 20 years of experience in technology capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic growth.
Frazer, co-founder of Flying Fox Ventures, has invested in more than 100 startups and has firsthand experience founding and exiting a medtech startup. She will leverage her expertise to support UNSW portfolio companies in fundraising and global expansion. Frazer has been involved with the UNSW Founders Angel Investor Program since its launch in 2019.
“UNSW Founders has achieved remarkable results over the past few years, and I’m excited to contribute to its continued success,” said Frazer.

UNSW Founders, established in 2017, has supported over 100 companies, with 43 per cent co-founded by women. Its startups have raised more than $175 million, created 500 jobs, and achieved a collective enterprise value exceeding $750 million. Notable successes include the acquisitions of Forcite by GoPro and Forage by EAB in 2024.
David Burt, Director of Entrepreneurship at UNSW Founders, expressed enthusiasm about Frazer’s appointment. “Kylie’s outstanding investment track record and passion for fostering innovation make her an invaluable addition to the UNSW Founders team. Her expertise will amplify our impact locally and globally.”
In her role, Frazer will focus on expanding relationships with investment partners, angel networks, and venture capitalists. Applications are now open for the UNSW Founders’ Pre-10X Accelerator, a four-week program designed for early-stage entrepreneurs. Submissions close on February 17.
