Aptera Motors has unveiled its production-ready solar electric vehicle (sEV) at CES 2025, marking a major milestone in sustainable transportation. Designed to reduce reliance on grid charging, Aptera’s sEV offers up to 40 miles of daily driving powered by sunlight and can achieve up to 400 miles of range with under an hour of charging.
Featuring an advanced solar array with panels on the hood, dash, roof, and hatch, the sEV’s carbon fiber construction reduces complexity and weight, requiring fewer parts than traditional vehicles. Aptera has amassed nearly 50,000 reservations worth $1.7 billion in potential revenue and raised $135 million via equity crowdfunding.

Revolutionizing Touch Tech

Afference, founded in June 2022 by neural engineering pioneer Dustin Tyler and entrepreneur Jacob Segil, aims to bridge human interaction and technology through advanced neural haptic innovation.
At CES 2025, the company unveiled the Afference Ring, a wearable device that delivers tactile sensations directly to the fingertip without physical contact, ideal for applications in virtual reality, gaming, and spatial computing.
The ring features programmable sensation intensity across two channels, Bluetooth connectivity, and a compact design, making it 25 per cent smaller than existing haptic solutions. Unlike traditional haptic devices, it has no moving parts, enhancing durability.

French startup AtmosGear is making waves at CES Las Vegas with the global launch of its hybrid electric rollerblades. Following a successful €1.4 million fundraising round, the company has scaled up production to 4,000 pairs of skates to meet growing demand.
Founded in 2022, AtmosGear has developed rollerblades designed for sports, commuting, and leisure. These motorized skates can reach speeds of up to 18 mph and offer a range of 16 miles. Equipped with a patented hub motor and a removable battery pack, the skates provide versatility for various types of riders.

Hisense has expanded its home entertainment lineup with groundbreaking display technologies, including the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV and the next-generation Micro-LED models.
The 116-inch TriChroma LED TV offers a 4K anti-glare display, 10,000 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced certification, and a 6.2.2 surround sound system for an immersive experience.
