Korean Air Marks Milestone

Seoul, Dec 23: Korean Air is celebrating 30 years of service between Korea and China with events across major Chinese airports.
On December 22, the airline hosted appreciation events at Beijing Capital and Shenyang Taoxian airports, rewarding lucky passengers with round-trip Prestige Class tickets and commemorative tote bags.
Celebrations will continue on December 24 at Tianjin Binhai and Qingdao Jiaodong airports.
The airline launched its China operations in 1994 and now operates 27 routes to 21 cities, achieving 95 per cent of pre-pandemic capacity.
Korean Air’s contributions include the “Ai Xin Ji Hua” project supporting Chinese education, environmental initiatives like tree planting in Inner Mongolia, and humanitarian efforts during crises such as the Sichuan earthquake and COVID-19.
Recognized with numerous awards, the airline remains committed to strengthening ties and expanding its presence in China.
