Eco-Shop Aids Flood Victims

Eco-shop Malaysia has pledged RM2 million in e-vouchers through its Eco Care #SAMAHATISAMABANTU initiative to assist 20,000 families affected by recent floods in Kelantan and across Malaysia. Eligible families will receive RM100 e-vouchers, redeemable for essential items, from 13 to 26 December 2024.
In partnership with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS), Eco-shop has also distributed 200 care packages worth over RM10,000 to flood victims in Kelantan, including personal care products and critical supplies.
Applications for the e-vouchers can be made online by submitting identity documents and a police report verifying flood-affected status. Vouchers will be credited within five working days upon approval.

KLIMS 2024 Breaks Records

The 10th Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2024 (KLIMS 2024) welcomed 183,221 visitors over seven days at MITEC, showcasing nearly 70 automotive and mobility brands under the theme “Beyond Mobility.”

Airlines Reinstating Codeshare

Malaysia Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways have reinstated their codeshare partnership, enhancing connectivity between Southeast Asia and Central Asia.
Malaysia Airlines now offers its “MH” flight code on Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur routes, while Uzbekistan Airways places its “HY” code on routes to Langkawi and Kota Kinabalu.
The partnership streamlines travel with baggage check-through and optimised flight schedules, offering passengers seamless connections and access to captivating destinations.

Samaiden Earns A1 Ratings
Samaiden Group Berhad, a renewable energy specialist, has received A1/Stable/P1 ratings from RAM Ratings for its Corporate Credit Ratings and RM1.5 billion Sukuk Wakalah programme.
