IMMERSIO 2024 Unveiled

Sydney, Nov 12: Prepare for a mesmerizing blend of art and technology as IMMERSIO 2024 takes place from 22 November to 22 December 2024 at GMBB, Kuala Lumpur. Led by new media collective Filamen, this year’s edition explores the theme of “Maya,” meaning “illusion” or “virtual,” celebrating the cultural heritage and stories of Southeast Asia through immersive installations.
Artists and collectives from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan, including Kapallorek, Mud Layar, and Zontiga, will present new media works inspired by the region’s myths and diversity.
The event will also feature a special student showcase by Multimedia University, The One Academy, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Universiti Teknologi MARA.
Open daily (except Mondays) from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Level 5 of GMBB, tickets are RM10 (early bird) and RM20 after 20 November, with discounts for children, seniors, and PWDs. IMMERSIO is co-organized by Filamen and Pixelworld, with support from GMBB, CloudJoi, and Epson Malaysia.

Jolly Market Returns

Sydney, Nov 14: Sydney’s Le Jolly Market returns December 13–22, bringing European-inspired Christmas charm to Belmore Park near Central Station. KLIMS 2024 Returns

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 15: The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) celebrates its 10th edition from December 5 to 11, 2024, at MITEC, offering attendees a glimpse into the future of mobility with nearly 70 exhibitors and cutting-edge automotive technology. This year’s theme, “Beyond Mobility,” emphasizes eco-friendly advancements and smart infrastructure, aligning with Malaysia’s push for EV adoption and sustainable mobility.

Robotics Industry Symposium Set

Sydney, Nov 19: The Advanced Robotics Manufacturing Centre (ARM Hub) and Australian Cobotics Centre will host the Cobotics Industry Symposium and Mini-Expo on December 5, 2024, in Brisbane.
The event, headlined by ARM Hub CEO Cori Stewart, will explore advancements in collaborative robotics (cobots) and AI in manufacturing.
Highlights include a keynote address by Stewart, industry case studies from InfraBuild and Cook Medical, a panel discussion on the future of robotics, and a cobot expo showcasing cutting-edge technology.
