Sydney, Nov 27: Qantas has unveiled its first-ever “Travel Week” sale, offering significant discounts on over 20,000 seats across 60 international routes. The eight-day sale includes popular destinations such as Japan, the United States, Canada, and New Zealand, with travel dates spanning much of 2025, including the October school holidays.
Economy fares from Australia start at $539 return to Christchurch, with competitive prices to other destinations like Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. For Frequent Flyers, the sale introduces Classic Plus reward seat options, which allow Qantas Points to be used to purchase sale fares eligible for upgrades. Examples include 53,500 points for Sydney to Tokyo (Economy) and 467,100 points for Melbourne to Dallas (Business), plus taxes and fees.
All Qantas international fares include checked baggage, complimentary meals, beverages, and seat selection.
The sale runs until 11:59 pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, or until tickets sell out. Travel dates range from January to October 2025, excluding blackout periods.
Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace highlighted the inclusion of trending destinations like Japan, Honolulu, and Los Angeles as key to the promotion’s appeal.
