When Telebbit landed in my inbox courtesy of HYPER REAL, I couldn’t resist the challenge. As someone newer to the gaming scene, I often jump into reviews without a guide, and Telebbit was no exception. This game quickly proved itself to be a wild, skill-testing platformer designed for seasoned players who crave precision and persistence.

The Story

Set in a bleak, futuristic Earth in 3023, Telebbit places players in control of a teleporting rabbit who, after being part of a cruel laboratory experiment, gains enhanced intelligence and a thirst for vengeance. In a world ravaged by pollution, war, and disease, humans have retreated underground, with teleportation becoming essential for avoiding contaminated surfaces. This rabbit, now fitted with a high-performance CPU, has a singular goal: escape the depths of an underground lab and seek justice.

Gameplay

Telebbit doesn’t hold your hand. The game’s core mechanic centers around teleportation, which adds an exciting layer of strategy to traditional platforming. While the controls may seem simple, the gameplay is anything but—it demands precise timing, creative use of teleportation, and sharp reflexes. If you’re the kind of gamer who loves the thrill of mastering complex levels and stringing together perfect maneuvers, Telebbit will keep you hooked.
However, as a newer player, I found the lack of a guide somewhat daunting. The game doesn’t provide much in terms of hints or tutorials, making it a trial by fire. After several (okay, many) attempts, I managed to progress, but I would strongly recommend Telebbit for players who are already comfortable with fast-paced platformers.
