Sydney, Oct 11: TEG has appointed Shane Harmon, a seasoned executive in the sports and entertainment sectors, as Managing Director – Experiences. TEG is recognized globally for its leadership in live entertainment, ticketing, and technology.
Harmon brings over 25 years of experience, most recently serving as Chief Executive at Sky Stadium in Wellington. His career highlights include roles with the Sydney Swans, Rugby Australia, and organising committees for the Rugby World Cups in 2023 and 2011.
Based in TEG’s Melbourne office, Harmon will report to TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones and spearhead strategic initiatives for TEG’s Experiences division. This arm of the business has promoted major family events like Brickman’s Jurassic World, Paw Patrol Live!, and the Friends Experience, which is set to launch in Sydney.
Harmon takes over the portfolio from Rachael Carroll, who will continue with TEG as Managing Director of TEG Sport, focusing on global sports content growth.

Harmon’s extensive career spans major events like the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 and Eminem concerts at Sky Stadium. His leadership helped secure awards for Sky Stadium, including Venue of the Year in 2019 and 2024.
Shane Harmon will officially join TEG in January 2025.
