Sydney, Sept 24: D-Link A/NZ has unveiled its new DMS-1250 Series Multi-Gigabit Smart Managed PoE+ Switches, designed to enhance connectivity for SMBs and enterprises.
The DMS-1250-10SP features eight 2.5G PoE+ ports and two 10G SFP+ ports, while the DMS-1250-12TP offers eight 2.5G PoE+ ports, two 10GBASE-T, and two 10G SFP+ ports.
Both models include advanced Layer 2 management, 6kV surge protection, and quiet-mode smart fans. They also support Fast and Perpetual PoE, ensuring continuous power supply.
Prices are AU$1349.95 (NZ$1599.99) for the DMS-1250-10SP and AU$2199.95 (NZ$2699.99) for the DMS-1250-12TP. Available now from D-Link partners.

Logitech Unveils MX Console

Sydney, Sept 24: Logitech has launched the MX Creative Console, designed to streamline workflows for digital creators. The console features customisable controls, tailored plugins for Adobe applications, and deep integration with AI capabilities. It includes a keypad with dynamic display keys and a dialpad for intuitive navigation. Sustainable design elements include 72 per cent post-consumer recycled plastic.

This feature adds up to 92 sq. m. of coverage and supports speeds up to 100 Mbps for up to 10 devices in the 5 GHz band.
Available at no extra cost, it works with eero systems, including the eero Pro 6E and eero Max 7, as well as Echo Dot (4th and 5th Gen), Echo (4th Gen), and Echo Pop.
Setup is managed via the eero app.

Virgin Australia Adopts SabreMosaic

Sydney, Sept 24: Virgin Australia has partnered with Sabre Corporation to modernize its retailing capabilities through the phased implementation of SabreMosaic, an AI-driven platform for airline retailing.
The airline will adopt over 40 products from the SabreMosaic suite, enhancing its ability to offer dynamic, personalized travel experiences.
The partnership also extends Virgin Australia’s existing airline IT and distribution agreements with Sabre, ensuring continued access to Sabre’s global network of travel buyers.
The SabreMosaic platform will transform Virgin Australia’s retailing strategy over the coming years.

Alpro Warns of Faulty BP Meters

Sydney, Sept 24: Alpro Pharmacy has raised concerns about the widespread availability of uncertified blood pressure meters in Malaysia, warning they could lead to serious health risks due to inaccurate readings.
Sold online for as little as RM15, these devices often lack approval from the Medical Devices Authority (MDA). Alpro advises consumers to verify the registration of health devices on the MDA website or seek professional guidance from pharmacists before making medication adjustments.
The pharmacy offers free consultations at its 300 outlets and via its e-pharmacy WhatsApp hotline.

Korean Air Expands Winter Flights

Korean Air Boosts Southeast Asia Flights: Korean Air expands its flight services to popular Southeast Asian destinations like Bali, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc for the upcoming winter season, enhancing travel options for passengers with more frequent flights.

Seoul, Sept 24: Korean Air is increasing flight frequencies to key Southeast Asian destinations, including Bali, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc, for the winter season.
Starting October 20, the Seoul Incheon-Bali route will offer twice-daily flights, while Nha Trang and Phu Quoc will double to twice daily from October 27 and December 15, respectively.
The airline will also expand services on North American and European routes, including daily flights to Las Vegas, Vancouver, and Madrid.
Korean Air’s international capacity is expected to reach pre-pandemic levels for the winter season.
