Sydney, Aug 27: Sony has unveiled the WF-C510 earbuds, offering premium sound in a compact design, with up to 11 hours of battery life and features like Ambient Sound Mode and Multipoint Connection.
In South East Asia, Samsara Eco and NILIT have partnered to build the world’s first nylon 6,6 recycling facility, set to open by late 2026.
Meanwhile, Gogoro and Nebula Energy are expanding their battery-swapping Smartscooters to Kathmandu Valley, launching in October 2024 with plans to establish 45 swapping stations across the region.

Sony Unveils Compact Earbuds

Sony has introduced the WF-C510 truly wireless earbuds, offering high-quality sound in a compact, lightweight design.
Boasting up to 11 hours of battery life, these earbuds are designed for all-day comfort and convenience. The WF-C510 features Sony’s Multipoint Connection, Ambient Sound Mode, and DSEE technology for an enhanced listening experience.
They are also water-resistant (IPX4) and eco-friendly, with recycled materials in both the earbuds and packaging.
Available in blue, yellow, black, and white, the WF-C510 will be on presale from today and available in Australia from October.

Samsara Eco and NILIT have partnered to build the first-ever nylon 6,6 recycling facility in South East Asia, aiming to address the significant recycling challenges of nylon 6,6, a widely used yet difficult-to-recycle fiber.
Expected to be operational by late 2026, the facility will use Samsara Eco’s EosEco™ technology to recycle textile waste into high-quality nylon 6,6 polymers.
This collaboration marks a critical step toward achieving a circular economy in the textile industry.

At the NADA Auto Show in Kathmandu, the companies introduced the Pulse and JEGO Smartscooters alongside the CrossOver GX250.
Nebula Energy revealed plans to open 45 battery swapping stations across the valley, with a long-term goal of outnumbering petrol stations.
Horace Luke, CEO of Gogoro, emphasized Nepal’s leadership in clean energy, while Sahayu Goyal, Managing Director of Nebula, highlighted the potential of Gogoro’s technology in promoting EV adoption.
