By June Ramli

Friday, Aug 23: Epson Australia recently showcased its latest high-end projection technology, designed to meet the needs of businesses, educational institutions, and entertainment venues.
The company’s new PQ product range includes 20K projectors that can be double-stacked to achieve an impressive 40K resolution, making it ideal for applications requiring high brightness, such as outdoor projections on buildings or immersive environments.
Priscilla Dickason, Marketing Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Epson Australia Pty Ltd, explained the versatility of the new range.
“Our PQ products are designed for high-end markets, including theaters, convention centers, and large-scale events.
With the ability to deliver 4K resolution, these projectors cater to environments where brightness and clarity are paramount,” she told DailyStraits.com in an exclusive interview when met at the sidelines at Integrate held at the ICCC from Aug 21 to 23.
The range also includes 16K and 10K models, all compatible with existing lenses from Epson’s PU range, offering flexibility and cost-efficiency to customers.
“We’ve ensured that the lenses used with our PQ range are interchangeable with those from our PU range, making it easier for clients who already have our equipment to upgrade,” added Dickason.
Epson’s showcase also featured ultra-short throw projectors like the 805 model, which delivers 5000 lumens in small spaces, making it ideal for immersive installations in museums, universities, and art centers.
“The 805 projector has been a reliable product for years, widely used in education and immersive environments. Its ability to project large images in small spaces makes it a popular choice,” said Dickason.
Among the highlights was the EB-810E, an ultra-short throw projector designed for large screen displays in corporate boardrooms.
“This projector is perfect for team meetings where everyone needs to be visible on the screen. It supports a 21:9 aspect ratio for optimal viewing in Microsoft Teams,” noted Dickason.
Epson’s range includes over 40 different projectors, catering to various needs, from portable options for small businesses to high-brightness models for large venues.
“We have a strong presence in education and corporate sectors, and our products are widely used in stadiums, gymnasiums, and large event spaces,” Dickason remarked.
