Melbourne, Aug 21: Interactive, a leading IT service provider in Australia, has named Alex Coates as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 28th January 2025.
Coates, who brings extensive international experience, is set to drive the company’s growth across its Cloud, Cyber, and Systems business units, reinforcing Interactive’s standing as a trusted technology partner in Australia.
Coates most recently served as Managing Director of Datacom Australia, where she led the company for over four years.
Her career also includes a tenure as Chief Operating Officer for Datacom’s ANZ operation and leadership roles with Fujitsu in both the UK and Australia.
Interactive Chairman Brendan Fleiter, who has been serving as both Chairman and CEO, expressed confidence in Coates’s leadership.
“I can’t think of a more qualified individual to take on the CEO role at Interactive at this time. Alex brings the perfect mix of industry presence, people leadership, customer focus, and cultural alignment,” Fleiter said.
He will continue as Chairman after Coates steps into the CEO role.
