Sydney, Aug 2: Adobe has launched the latest update to Adobe Express for Education, designed to enhance classroom engagement with safe, generative AI.
The platform, free for K-12, includes features like Firefly-powered AI for creating templates, multimedia presentations, and animation capabilities.
“Adobe Express for Education is built by and with teachers, with AI that’s designed to be safe for the classroom,” said Mala Sharma, VP and general manager, creators and education for Adobe’s Digital Media Business.
Adobe Express for Education is reaching millions globally, providing tools for students and teachers to create web pages, reports, videos, and more, preparing them for future careers.
The platform now includes a responsible AI and media literacy curriculum, ensuring a safe and impactful learning environment.
Christine Morgan, a teacher at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD at Hairgrove Elementary, praised the comprehensive approach: “Adobe’s team of educators-turned-technologists offers a comprehensive approach – from their responsible AI technologies to professional development to curriculum – they know what it takes to help teachers and students succeed in the classroom and beyond.”
New features include AI-generated templates, enhanced presentations with multimedia, and an iPad experience.
Adobe’s commitment to privacy ensures student data is protected and not used to train AI models.
The update is available immediately, with some features coming soon.
