Mumbai, July 31: JioCinema, the official digital partner of the TATA IPL, sought cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) and virtual studio (VS) solutions for the 2024 season and turned to Pixotope for their expertise.
For the TATA IPL 2024, JioCinema needed advanced storytelling tools to elevate their content.
They sought a solution with a robust chroma keyer that would seamlessly integrate with Unreal Engine, deliver flawless green screen results, and offer user-friendly software for last-minute adjustments.

JioCinema acquired Pixotope’s AR/VS and XR solutions for their new seven-studio facility, including five green screen studios and two LED wall studios.
They purchased 36 Pixotope engines for virtual production, virtual studios, and set extensions.
This setup allowed JioCinema to import Unreal projects and execute productions efficiently, using Pixotope solutions to enhance virtual sets for live broadcasts.
The workflow included three main stages: Pre-Production Setup, Live Production Integration, and Streaming Execution.
This ensured efficient, high-quality virtual sets and enhanced the broadcast experience for TATA IPL viewers.
Pixotope also conducted training sessions for JioCinema and wTVision ahead of the event, ensuring all stakeholders were well-acquainted with the solutions, minimizing potential issues.
