Box Office Hits $18.71M

Sydney, June 24: The National Australian Box Office reached an impressive $18.71 million over the weekend, marking a 21 per cent increase from the prior weekend.
This figure represents the highest-grossing weekend since the post-Christmas period (December 28-31) when the box office hit $20 million.
The top ten movies dominated the box office, accounting for 93.47 per cent of the total revenue, with the top two films representing 76.84 per cent.
Inside Out 2 continues to hold the number one spot, grossing $7.46 million over the weekend and bringing its cumulative box office to $19.11 million in its second week of release.
This marks the highest second weekend ever for a Walt Disney Animation Studios/Pixar film, surpassing the previous record held by Finding Dory, which earned $7.43 million. Inside Out 2 also outperformed several other notable sequels, earning 131 per cent more than the original Inside Out, 37 per cent more than Frozen 2, 17 per cent more than Toy Story 4, and 14 per cent more than Incredibles 2.
Debuting in second place is the new release Despicable Me 4, which amassed $7 million in its opening weekend.
This marks the highest-grossing opening weekend in the Despicable Me and Minions franchise.
The film proved especially popular in HOYTS D-BOX sessions, with audiences opting for the D-BOX Motion Recliner experience to fully immerse themselves in the action.
In third place is Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which brought in $1.62 million, raising its cumulative Australian box office to $10.34 million in its third week of release.
The Garfield Movie claimed the fourth spot, earning $359,000 over the weekend and bringing its total to $7.86 million in its fourth week.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga placed fifth, generating $326,000, and bringing its cumulative box office to $9.72 million in Australia in its fifth week.
