At Computex, Intel introduced new technologies set to enhance the AI ecosystem across various sectors, including data centers, cloud networks, PCs, and edge solutions.
Key announcements include:
Xeon 6 Processors: Featuring Efficient-cores (E-cores) for high-density workloads, these processors offer up to 4.2x better rack-level performance and 2.6x more performance per watt.
Gaudi AI Accelerators: The new Gaudi 2 and 3 AI accelerator kits provide high performance at up to one-third lower costs than competitors, offering a powerful solution when combined with Xeon processors.
Lunar Lake Architecture: This new client processor architecture will significantly improve power efficiency and AI processing power for the next generation of AI PCs, reducing SoC power consumption by up to 40 per cent.

Blackmagic Design has exciting news for creators: DaVinci Resolve 19 beta 3 now supports Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Elite processor for Windows.
This means a significant boost in the performance of AI tools, offering up to 4.7 times faster performance for the DaVinci Neural AI Engine and twice the speed for smart reframe capabilities.
