Sydney, May 28: Epson has achieved significant recognition at the 2024 Red Dot Design Awards, securing the prestigious Best of the Best award in the Product Design category.
Among the winners are the DS-C480W and DS-C420W series of document scanners, which were acknowledged for their compact and efficient design. This is the fifth time Epson has won the Best of the Best award.
Epson also received Red Dot awards for their business inkjet printer, garment printer, and an auto colour chart reading portable table.
Award-Winning Design
The DS-C480W and DS-C420W series, known as DS-C380W and DS-C320W in Australia and New Zealand, feature a space-saving vertical layout and frontal operation, allowing users to work comfortably even in confined spaces.
Business Inkjet Printers
The WorkForce Enterprise AM-C4000, 5000, and 6000 series are high-speed A3 inkjet printers designed for medium to large offices. These printers consume less power than laser printers and have a simple structure that minimizes environmental impact. Their clean, rounded design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Garment Printers
The SureColor SC-F2200 series, or SureColor F2260 in Australia and New Zealand, offers direct printing onto T-shirts and other garments. These printers are compact, easy to install, and feature an improved design for better productivity and ease of use. Epson aims to support the digitalization of the textile printing industry with this model.
Auto Colour Chart Reading Portable Table
The Auto Table for the SD-10 spectrophotometer is a portable, automatic colour measurement table that works with Epson’s SD-10 spectrophotometer and Edge Color Lite software.
It is designed to be lightweight and easy to carry, allowing for accurate colour matching on-site.
Epson’s innovative designs and commitment to functionality and sustainability have earned them well-deserved accolades at this year’s Red Dot Design Awards.
