Sydney, May 17: Western Digital has announced the expansion of its portable HDD offerings, introducing the world’s highest storage capacity in a 2.5” format across its distinguished WD®, WD_BLACK™, and SanDisk® Professional brands.
This landmark expansion includes new 6TB* capacity models for the WD My Passport, WD_BLACK P10 Game Drive, and SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE® ArmorATD™ lines.

For those looking to securely store and back up their digital memories, the WD My Passport series now offers up to 6TB* capacities.
The My Passport Ultra™ features a USB-C™ connection, a sleek metal design, and password protection with 256-bit AES hardware encryption.
It is ready for use right out of the box and offers a slim, transportable form factor available in various colors.
The 6TB* WD My Passport will retail for $299.00 MSRP, while the version for Mac will sell for $309.00 MSRP.
These products are set to hit Australian markets this Oct, available at selected retailers, e-tailers, and the Western Digital Store.
Gamers will also find enhanced options with the WD_BLACK P10 Game Drive.
This addition enables up to 150 games to be stored, helping players enhance the storage of their consoles or PCs without having to sacrifice game deletions or updates for new titles.
