Fishermen Eye Webby Award

Fishermen Integrated has been nominated for Best Use of Video or Moving Image in the 28th Annual Webby Awards, the premier international honor for Internet excellence.
This nomination highlights their work on the PETRONAS Integrated Report 2022, marking them as the sole Malaysian nominee.
“Nominees like Fishermen Integrated are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said Nick Borenstein, General Manager of The Webby Awards.
Mark Darren Lee, Co-Founder of Fishermen Integrated, shared his excitement: “Being nominated for the Webby Awards has been a big dream for me personally and Fishermen. The company is also in the running for a Webby People’s Voice Award, which fans globally can vote for online until April 18th.
Winners will be announced on April 23, 2024, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York, where they can deliver the famed 5-Word Speech.

Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Berhad (MGRC), through its subsidiary MGRC Healthcare Sdn. Bhd., has partnered with De Cell Berhad in a strategic collaboration to advance the EXOGENETIX program, enhancing the development and commercialization of cell-gene therapies.
This Strategic Collaboration Agreement will see MGRC Healthcare provide technical and production support, maximizing the efficiency and market reach of EXOGENETIX.
De Cell Berhad will handle exclusive marketing and promotional efforts to boost the program’s presence in the market.

Carlsberg Asia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Grab, marking a strategic partnership aimed at revolutionizing the beer consumption experience across four Southeast Asian countries: Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Singapore. This collaboration will feature promotional campaigns, including an exciting football season campaign with Liverpool Football Club and a Responsible Drinking initiative.
The partnership will also see the establishment of a Carlsberg virtual store on the Grab app in Singapore and Malaysia, enhancing accessibility for consumers to order their favorite Carlsberg beers directly to their doorstep.
“As part of Carlsberg Group’s Accelerate SAIL strategy, this exciting partnership will help us drive digital transformation and growth in the region by going beyond traditional retail channels,” said Arindam Varanasi, Vice President, Commercial Asia at Carlsberg. “With our joint forces, we will be able to introduce more drinking moments to consumers and make it easier and safer for them to access Carlsberg’s portfolio of local and international beers and Beyond Beer brands at their doorstep. The initiatives are set to launch in the second quarter of 2024, aligned with UEFA Euro 2024, to maximize engagement through Grab’s extensive advertising and consumer interaction platforms.

Silentmode Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian developer of the RONPOS fuel retail POS solution, has partnered with Titan Cloud, a leading provider of Fuel Asset Optimization software, to enhance fuel management solutions in Malaysia and across Asia.
Under this strategic agreement, Silentmode will integrate Titan Cloud’s technology to optimize fuel management and customer service efficiency.
Titan Cloud will also promote Silentmode’s RONPOS solution across its extensive customer network, expanding both companies’ reach and capabilities in the Asian market.
