Last week was bustling with meetings for LazyBum Skincare and Blitz Haircare.
I kicked things off by attending a networking event on Wednesday at Untied, a rooftop bar in Barangaroo, to connect with fellow ecommerce merchants.
I had the pleasure of meeting representatives from Hello Clever, World First (a subsidiary of Ant Group), and Choco Up, a fintech company from Singapore.
Since then, I’ve had productive follow-up discussions with two companies about how to leverage the Hello Clever platform and Tmall to grow my business.
There’s been notable progress in my business recently.
I’ve achieved some milestones—keeping the details under wraps for now to ward off any potential bad luck, but I’m excited about the positive developments.
I’m considering a rebrand and introducing a whole new range of products.
However, I’m at a point where I need capital to move forward with these plans.
I’ve had conversations with several individuals about this, and we’ve planned specific dates to delve deeper into these discussions.
I’m not sure what more to add, except that I’m hopeful for the capital boost my business needs to elevate to the next level.
I also had the opportunity to interview Percy Hung, the co-founder and CEO of Choco Up, at the Alibaba Expo in ICC Sydney on Saturday.

Choco Up, based in Singapore, is scouting for promising ecommerce businesses to fund, offering amounts ranging from USD 10,000 to USD 1 million.
