The festivals and the AccelerateHER Workshops aim to refine ideas into market-ready proposals.
This initiative, in collaboration with the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA), aims to bridge the gap in entrepreneurship and funding opportunities for women. COSBOA’s CEO highlighted the competition’s importance in empowering women with the support and information needed to launch their ventures.
The spokesperson for the Accelerator for Enterprising Women emphasized the critical need for such programs as women remain significantly underrepresented in entrepreneurship and face challenges in securing funding.
