Nagona, March 1: Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE:TNL) has acquired the Yushi Chikumakan resort in Chikuma City, Nagano, to be rebranded as Club Wyndham Chikumakan Nagano.
This 36-room Ryokan combines Western and Japanese styles, featuring dining with Shinshu specialties, indoor and outdoor onsens, and banqueting for up to 130 guests.

Barry Robinson, President of International Operations at Travel + Leisure Co., cited Japan’s growing tourist economy as a key reason for the expansion.
Club Wyndham Chikumakan Nagano marks the company’s first Club Wyndham property in Japan and its 19th across the country, signaling further growth in the Asia Pacific.
The resort, nestled between Mt Kosakayama and Mt Ariakeyama, offers access to cultural sites, outdoor activities, and is conveniently near a railway station for easy travel to Tokyo.
