Singapore, Dec 16: In a landmark development for esports sim racing, Singapore’s Legion of Racers (LOR) has teamed up with RENNSPORT to launch the Orchard Road Street Circuit on the latter’s platform.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it introduces the first Asian track to RENNSPORT, and it’s also the first sim racing street circuit not created by RENNSPORT to be featured on their platform.
RENNSPORT, a frontrunner in digital gaming culture for racing simulation, competition, and digital car culture, offers sim racing enthusiasts the chance to experience the thrill of driving high-performance race cars on laser-scanned circuits and imaginative roads conceptualized by the community.
This partnership is a continuation of RENNSPORT’s innovative strides in the sim racing world, highlighted by their collaboration with ESL for the ESL R1: Racing Released in 2023 and their representation at the recent Saudi Gamers8 event in July.
The 3.2km Orchard Road Street Circuit, initially released in 2021 as part of the inaugural HyperDrive Cities Championship and developed from scratch by LOR, has been a popular choice among sim racers worldwide, with over 10,000 downloads.
LOR, founded in 2017, aims to expand the sim racing community in Singapore and the surrounding region. Their partnership with RENNSPORT is a significant step in putting Singapore and the regional sim racing community on the global map. The upcoming beta update of RENNSPORT, scheduled for December 18, will feature the Orchard Road Street Circuit, allowing sim racers to drive past iconic landmarks.

Morris Hebecker, CEO and Co-Founder of RENNSPORT, also noted the significance of this collaboration, marking it as a milestone in incorporating community-created content into their game.
In addition to the Orchard Road Street Circuit, LOR has also developed the Semanggi Street Circuit and the Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit, both utilized in the HyperDrive Championship. LOR continues to engage the sim racing community with initiatives like Race Box, fueling the passion for high-speed racing simulation.
