Sydney, Dec 13: The Westpoint Shopping Centre in Blacktown is gearing up to unveil its newly revitalized dining and entertainment area just in time for Christmas.
This $19 million upgrade transforms the top level of the centre into a state-of-the-art destination for family dining and entertainment.
Set to open on December 14th, the area will now boast an entire level dedicated to leisure and recreation, featuring refreshed spaces that include a HOYTS Cinema, Zone Bowling, and an innovative Timezone format.
New attractions such as the Chou Chou Bebe indoor play centre, the adventurous Kiss My Axe venue, the Club Lime Gym, and WOTSO, a contemporary co-working space, are also part of the mix.
Catering to the growing Western Sydney population, Westpoint isn’t just about shopping at its 300 speciality stores anymore.

The newly renovated fourth level offers a global dining experience, including the newly launched Grill’d restaurant and the popular Volcanos steakhouse.
Enhancing this experience, the precinct will showcase a variety of art installations, like vibrant murals, sculptures, and a unique light display, all contributing to the Blacktown City Art Walk.
A new outdoor playground and beautifully landscaped gardens are also part of the precinct, appealing to visitors of all ages.
Carly Xerri, the Centre Manager at Westpoint, is thrilled about the launch of this refreshed space.
The upgrade aligns perfectly with the festive season, offering families a venue for connection and enjoyment through activities like movies, bowling, and dining.
The January school holidays make it an ideal time for children to enjoy the play centre and the new outdoor area.
Xerri emphasized the community-focused approach in upgrading the precinct, highlighting the family-friendly spaces and the showcase of six remarkable Sydney-based artists.
The art pieces vary from hand-painted murals to sculptures, digital artwork, and lighting installations, all centred around the theme of ‘Connection’.
This theme acknowledges the role of shopping centres in the social landscape, where local communities feel a sense of belonging and connection.
The revamped level four precinct is set to be a hive of activity during the holiday season, starting with the Snowfest on Dec 15 and 16.
This free event will feature a DJ, live music, roaming entertainment, a magical snowfall, Christmas characters, festive face painting, hip-hop dancers, and special giveaways.
