Embarking on my first visit to Singapore in eight years was a trip down memory lane, especially since it was a neighbouring destination during my time in Malaysia.
Now based in Australia, the familiar drive was replaced by a seven-hour and 40-minute flight.
Despite frequent past visits, this journey held a special place in my heart.
Singapore, once a part of Malaysia, has always been a nation we hold in high regard.
It was in this city that I experienced my first solo overseas driving adventure, navigating its streets alone and marking the beginning of numerous captivating journeys in the Lion City.
This trip was unique; I was attending a Google summit, with just a day to explore this dynamic metropolis.
Choosing Hotel Faber Park over the recommended summit lodgings turned out to be a delightful decision.
The entire stay was filled with positive experiences as I attended the conference, forging new connections while rekindling old ones from my days as a print journalist in Kuala Lumpur.
In this picture article, I present glimpses of my singular rest day in Singapore on December 4, captured in photos taken at the vibrant locales of Little India and the renowned Arab Street.
Enjoy the visual journey!
