Last week, I had the pleasure of experiencing our inaugural hotel review at 25Hours Terminus Nord in Paris, France.
This unexpected journey took me from Sydney to London, finally landing in the heart of Paris.
Arriving bright and early via Eurostar, the proximity of Terminus Nord to Gare Du Nord Station immediately caught my attention.

Strategically positioned, it’s a mere stone’s throw away from the train station, making it incredibly convenient.
Entering the hotel, I noticed a queue, a testament to its popularity.

A pleasant surprise was the staff’s willingness to communicate in English, reflecting a departure from the stereotypical Parisian insistence on French-only conversations.
My encounter with the receptionist, MD, was swift, especially after learning about my complimentary stay for the purpose of a review.
After a short wait, MD handed me keys to room 516, emphasizing that the mini-bar was also complimentary – a generous perk.

The room’s vibrant colours and seamless blending of elements immediately caught my eye.
On a rainy Saturday morning, I opted to stay in, enjoying the diverse TV offerings that included English and French shows.
Despite the cold weather, the room’s comfort made it easy to relax. Later, a meeting with Jonathan Albertini, the hotel’s reservation manager, shed light on the hotel’s demographics, emphasizing its popularity among business travellers.

The hotel’s surroundings, close to Montmartre and bars, were deemed safe by Jonathan, who highlighted the absence of disturbances.
Although lacking certain amenities like room service and complimentary toiletries, the hotel boasts a unique Jewish café, Neni, and a co-working space.

The room itself, reminiscent of an old apartment building, featured a comfortable bed, a functional desk, and well-placed amenities.
Despite the nearby train station, a good night’s sleep was attainable, thanks to soundproofing measures.
Transitioning to breakfast at Neni’s, the spread was impressive, offering a wide tea selection.

For those seeking more budget-friendly options, nearby eateries like McDonald’s and bakeries provide alternatives.
In conclusion, 25Hours Terminus Nord offers a chic stay with excellent staff, delightful food, and a comfortable bed – the essentials for any traveller’s short-term stay.
Highly recommended.
