KL and Jakarta Unite

Kuala Lumpur, Sept 4: Kuala Lumpur City FC (KLCFC), Asia’s second-best team in the AFC Cup, and Rinani Group Berhad (Rinani) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Persija Jaya Jakarta (PERSIJA) to enhance football development and cultural ties between Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.

They envision that in 25 years, cancer could become a manageable, chronic disease with higher survival rates. Technological innovations, such as advanced diagnostic imaging, precision medicine based on genomic knowledge, immunotherapies, and comprehensive cancer care programs, have been instrumental in this progress. However, achieving a world without fear of cancer requires a shift from fragmented care to integrated care, emphasizing multi-disciplinary cooperation and strategic partnerships.

SCIB Delivers School Projects

Kuching, Sept 7: SCIB is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, SCIBIBS, has handed over two schools in Kanowit near Sibu as part of the RM1 billion Daif School Redevelopment Project’s second phase. The RM13.28 million EPCC project was awarded in October 2021.
Ku Chong Hong, Managing Director of SCIB, stated that the school upgrades will provide a safer and better learning environment, aligning with the company’s commitment to education and community support. SCIB is actively pursuing more projects in East Malaysia, where substantial funds are allocated for school improvements.
As part of their corporate social responsibility, SCIB has donated cash and computer equipment to schools in need. SCIBIBS has also secured two additional school projects.
As of 4QFY2023, SCIB’s order book stands at RM275 million.

Intel Leads the Way with Advanced Packaging

Dubai, Sept 7: Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has launched a set of attractive passive income options for new users. In an effort to support investors during challenging market conditions, Bybit is introducing an exclusive 7-day Fixed Term USDT Savings Product with an impressive 15 per cent Annual Percentage Rate (APR). At the end of the term, the yield doubles, resulting in a total APR of 30 per cent.

Bitdeer’s August 2023 Update

Singapore, Sept 7: Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) has reported strong growth in its cryptocurrency mining operations for August 2023.
The company’s Gedu Datacenter, with 30,000 mining machines fully operational, increased its electrical capacity by 100MW and added 3.3EH/s to their hash rate.
Bitdeer mined 383 Bitcoins in August, marking a 124.0 per cent year-over-year and 74.1 per cent month-over-month increase.
They also helped stabilize Texas’ power grid during extreme heat by reducing power usage and earning credits.
Bitdeer’s business lines include self-mining, hash rate sharing, and hosting services.
Their total hash rate under management reached 21.3 EH/s, and they managed 221,000 mining machines, with 92,000 self-owned and 129,000 hosted machines. Their aggregate electrical capacity across six datacenters reached 895MW.
This data reflects Bitdeer’s continued growth in the cryptocurrency mining industry, emphasizing their diversified approach and commitment to long-term shareholder value.
