Kuala Lumpur, June 28: Aurelius Healthcare, a leading healthcare platform in Southeast Asia, has announced its third partnership by acquiring a majority stake in Pahang Medical Centre (PMC).
This collaboration aligns with Aurelius Healthcare’s growth objectives in the East Coast region and aims to enhance medical services for patients.
The hospital will be rebranded as Aurelius Hospital Pahang and strategic initiatives will be implemented to transform it into a tertiary hospital with 150 beds.
The focus will be on expanding cancer care, establishing Centers of Excellence in various disciplines, and delivering desired clinical outcomes.
Datuk Amir Firdaus Abdullah, Founder and Group Managing Director of Aurelius Healthcare, expressed pride in this new partnership, highlighting PMC’s strategic location and the support of dedicated doctors and healthcare professionals.
Datuk Sri Nicholas Bloy, Co-Managing Partner of Navis Capital Partners, emphasized the significance of diversifying Aurelius Healthcare’s portfolio and the role of this partnership in developing healthcare services in Pahang.

Tengku Amir Nasser Ibrahim Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, Timbalan Yang DiPertua of Majlis Ugama Islam dan Adat Resam Melayu Pahang (MUIP) and Chairman of MUIP Holdings Group of Companies expressed excitement about joining forces with Aurelius Healthcare to serve the people of Pahang and the East Coast states.
The partnership not only expands healthcare services but also enables both organizations to undertake corporate social responsibility activities for the benefit of underprivileged individuals and families.
