Kuala Lumpur, Oct 31: Go Shop was all praises at a showcase to celebrate its seventh anniversary.
The company received glowing reviews from a range of artistes (singers and actors) turned entrepreneurs who had used their services to sell products to the masses during the movement control order (MCO) which started early last year.
“The services were especially useful last year when everyone had been under lock and key and this was one of the ways artists had turned to as a means of making money when they couldn’t go out and fulfil acting or performance gigs,” Malaysian personality Datuk Aznil Nawawi and one of the presenters at Go Shop said at the event.
Go Shop CEO Christinne Lim had echoed the same sentiment.
“Go Shop has grown into Malaysia’s leading home shopping and ecommerce business thanks to the strong support and trust that our customers, partners and vendors have given us over the past seven years.
“The extended MCO has been a huge catalyst in accelerating online shopping.
“At Go Shop, we have seen our digital platform strengthening with an increase in sales coming from online platforms.
“Furthermore, as the popularity for health, fashion, fitness and leisure products increased during lockdown, we have successfully onboarded more brands and product line ups for these categories and collaborated with our partners to produce more live shows that focus on fitness and wellness.”
“We are a household-known shopping platform that offers quality and trusted brands of home appliances, kitchen and dining wares to meet the demand of modern households – smart, convenient, multifunctional and healthy-living.
“In addition, we are constantly adding more products and choices to meet our customers’ needs.
“During the year, we have also launched our first and very own clothing and bedding line – Royal Field and La Belle, Go Shop exclusive brands, to provide more options of quality products to our customers,” Christinne added.
