Kuala Lumpur, Oct 14: Malaysian fintech MoneyLion Inc has successfully completed the public listing of the award-winning, data-driven, digital financial platform on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at the end of September under the ticker symbol ‘ML’.
With the public offering now completed, MoneyLion co-founder Foong Chee Mun is the first Malaysian founder on the NYSE announced plans to bolster the Company’s Kuala Lumpur-based technology centre of excellence, which currently employs over 250 technologists in the areas of data science and machine learning, product management, product engineering and cybersecurity.
The Company expects to double the size of its Malaysian office in the next 12 months.

Since its launch in 2013, MoneyLion Inc has established itself as a full-service digital platform that delivers mobile banking, investment solutions and personalised solutions to the American market.
An engineer by training and currently the Chief Technology Officer at MoneyLion Inc, Foong aspires to grow the fintech industry in Malaysia, as the country gears towards digitalisation.
