Homage Malaysia is offering a 15 per cent discount to its customers in Johor Bahru in conjunction with its recent expansion to the Southern state.
But you will have to be quick as the discount is only available from now till the end of May and only applicable for personal home care and nursing services.
“Our prices can go from as low as RM29 per hour to RM50 per hour depending on the type of care needed, with options to choose between a pay-per-hour basis starting from one hour or monthly care packages that will give you better cost savings,” Homage Malaysia country manager PC Gan told the dailystraits.com in an interview.
The company provides personal care for the elderly that combines curated and trained care by professionals with the use of smart technology.
“We provides on-demand holistic home and community-based caregiving to seniors and adults, allowing them to age and recover at home with grace, control and dignity,” she said.
Among their services include care assessments, personal care is also known as activities of daily living (ADL) assistance, home nursing care and procedures, home rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
Homage also provides specialised care for recipients with a range of mobility and medical conditions, such as dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s and cancer, by helping them be more mobile and functional throughout their care.
The company which started trading in Singapore in 2016 only branched out its services to Malaysia in February 2019 and employs about 80-100 people to date.
“We have been growing rapidly especially during the pandemic. In Malaysia, we have over 1,200 care professionals consisting of a pool of all-Malaysian nurses, caregivers and therapists. We have provided care for more than 1,500 families in and around Klang Valley region, Penang and Johor Bahru,” she said.
She added that Homage provided four main services which are ADLs, nursing care and procedures, therapy services and most recently COVID-19 swab tests.
Families also get palliative care for their loved ones, so that they can live out the remaining years in comfort and dignity.
Gan also said that the company has plans to expand its services to other regions in Asia Pacific with the most recent expansion taking place Down Under.
“Australia is a relatively new market launched earlier this year, where our service offerings for home care and home nursing will be tailored to the local demographic, as we continue our mission to serve the aged population in the Asia Pacific region,” she added.
