Perth, Feb 16: Ere Perez has launched something I genuinely hadn’t tried before — the Ginkgo Micellar Cleanser with Waterless Cleansing Tablets, which is basically a refillable micellar system where you drop a tablet into water and it turns into micellar water.
When I first opened it, I’ll admit I was a bit clueless.
I followed the instructions, mixed the tablet with water, and my first reaction was: this is very watery.
It’s not foamy at all, and if you’re used to creamy or gel cleansers that lather, this feels completely different.
But that’s the point — it’s micellar water, not a foaming wash, so it’s meant to be gentle and simple.
The starter kit comes with a reusable bottle and three tablets, which together make about 300 ml.

I only got around to writing this review now because I wanted to actually finish what came in the pack before giving an opinion.
Those three tablets lasted me roughly four months, which I thought was pretty decent, and I didn’t experience any side effects or irritation while using it.
What I liked most is how travel-friendly it is.
The tablets are compact, the bottle is reusable, and you’re not lugging liquids around. If you travel often or you’re trying to cut down on packaging waste, this is one of those practical swaps that makes sense without feeling like you’re sacrificing performance.
Overall, it’s a gentle, low-fuss cleanser that does what it says — and after using up all three tablets with no issues, I’d genuinely recommend it, especially for travel or anyone who prefers a non-foaming, micellar-style cleanse.
