Sony XM6 Earbuds

Sony has unveiled its WF-1000XM6 truly wireless noise-cancelling earbuds, introducing upgrades in noise reduction, call clarity and connectivity. The new model delivers a claimed 25% improvement in noise cancelling over its predecessor, powered by Sony’s HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3e, Integrated Processor V2 and four microphones per earbud. Sony says the earbuds also feature enhanced call quality using AI beamforming, bone conduction sensors and AI noise reduction.
Audio performance improvements include 32-bit processing, a redesigned driver unit and support for Hi-Res Audio Wireless, DSEE Extreme, 360 Reality Audio, headtracking and a 10-band EQ via the Sony Sound Connect app. Sony also highlighted stronger Bluetooth connectivity with a larger antenna and support for LE Audio for lower latency applications such as gaming.
The earbuds adopt a slimmer ergonomic design aimed at improving comfort and passive noise isolation. Battery life is rated at up to 8 hours per charge and 24 hours with the case, with Qi wireless charging supported. Sony said approximately 25% circular materials were used in the plastics, while packaging is plastic-free.
Sony also introduced a new Sand Pink colourway for its WH-1000XM6 over-ear headphones. In Australia, the WF-1000XM6 is priced at $499.95 AUD, while the WH-1000XM6 carries an SRP of $699.95 AUD, with availability from February 2026.
D-Link Taps Dicker

D-Link Australia has appointed Dicker Data (ASX: DDR) as a new distributor, expanding its reach into Australia’s physical security and systems integration channel via Dicker Data’s DAS distribution business, while also widening access to Dicker Data’s broader IT reseller network.
D-Link Australia MD Graeme Reardon said, “The line between physical security and network infrastructure continues to blur, with security installers and system integrators deploying more Wi-Fi, switching and networking infrastructure alongside traditional physical security work every day. Through DAS, Dicker Data is uniquely positioned in this converging market and we’re excited to bring D-Link’s networking portfolio, training and services to those professionals.”
“Bringing D-Link into our physical security portfolio is a strong strategic fit for our channel,” said Gary Meyers, National Sales Manager – DAS. “Our security partners are increasingly looking for reliable, scalable networking solutions that are easy to deploy and supported locally. This appointment allows us to deliver exactly that, while continuing to back the channel with the service, expertise and enablement they expect from DAS.”
Under the appointment, D-Link products—including Wi-Fi access points, switches, structured cabling and cloud-managed networking via its Nuclias platforms—will be supported by joint training and certification programs, with national logistics and fulfilment handled through Dicker Data’s distribution capability. D-Link products are available now through DAS and Dicker Data.
Luna Unveils LifeOS
Health-tech company Luna, maker of the Luna Ring, has launched LifeOS V1, an AI-powered upgrade designed to unify a user’s personal health information into a single interface. The company said LifeOS aggregates data including wearable biometrics, nutrition, supplements, medication history, medical reports, reproductive health signals, workouts, environmental context and recovery behaviours, aiming to turn fragmented inputs into actionable insights.
“Until now, health data has existed in silos: wearables in one place, nutrition in another, medical history somewhere else. LifeOS is designed to unify this complexity and translate it into simple, human-readable understanding. Our goal is not just to track health, but to bring clarity to it.”
Luna said LifeOS is not a clinical or diagnostic product, but a context-first health intelligence system intended to help users understand how daily habits influence recovery, resilience and performance. LifeOS V1 is rolling out to Luna users from 10 February 2026 via the latest version of the Luna app
