Alienware Expands Lineup
Alienware has previewed major portfolio expansions ahead of CES 2026, including plans to introduce two new product classes later this year: an ultra-slim gaming laptop and a new entry-level laptop aimed at reaching a broader audience. At CES, the brand highlighted new display technologies and performance upgrades across its core lineup.
The company is debuting anti-glare OLED laptop panels across its 16-inch family (Alienware 16 Area-51 and 16X Aurora), designed to reduce reflections while maintaining OLED image quality. The Alienware 18 Area-51 also gains upgraded performance, with the 16X Aurora, 16 Area-51, and 18 Area-51 all featuring new Intel® Core™ Ultra 200HX processors alongside NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 50 Series GPUs.
Alienware also announced that its Area-51 Gaming Desktop will soon be configurable with the AMD Ryzen™ 7 9850X3D processor with 3D V-Cache™ technology beginning Q1 2026. The company further revealed plans for a new ultra-slim laptop (~17mm thin) in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, along with a new entry-level model positioned as its most accessible gaming notebook to date.
The expanded portfolio is intended to offer broader performance, portability and price options, with additional announcements expected later in the year. Pricing for the newly announced systems will be shared closer to launch, with availability for most models beginning in Q1 2026.
iMP Launches DLX2 Stand

UK-based gaming hardware maker iMP Gaming has begun shipping the DLX2 + LED Multi-Function Charge Stand, the latest addition to its best-selling DLX Stand range for Nintendo® Switch™ 1 | 2 and OLED. Designed to tidy and power a full Switch set-up, the new stand supports charging and storage for the console and up to four Joy-Con™ controllers, and includes a built-in headset stand plus a pop-out tray for nine game cartridges.
Positioned as one of the first multi-Switch compatible stands, the DLX2 + allows current Switch owners to upgrade to Switch 2 later while continuing to use the same stand, thanks to a future-proofed design that still charges original compatible Joy-Con controllers. Key features include multi-colour ambient LED lighting with seven static and five dynamic modes, multi-controller charging with LED status indicators, an integrated storage tower for headsets, game storage tray, and a non-slip base for added stability.
After a strong reception at Gamescom 2025, the DLX2 + LED Multi-Function Charge Stand is now available at Argos, Smyths Toys, Amazon and leading gaming retailers, with further details on the iMP Gaming website.
